Cubiko is a game that teaches you how to solve the Rubik’s Cube and lets you practice speedsolving, compete on leaderboards and collect cosmetic skins. This policy explains what data the app processes and why.

1. Data we collect

Device identifier — a random ID generated by the app on first launch. It lets you have an account without a password and be recognised when you return.
Display name you choose in the app.
Google account data (optional) — if you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name and profile picture to link your progress across devices.
Gameplay data — solve times, records, coins, XP, owned skins, daily-challenge results, learning progress.
Region & language — derived from your device locale (this is not GPS/precise location).
Advertising data — the advertising identifier and ad-interaction data processed by Google AdMob to display and measure ads.
Basic technical data — device model and platform, for compatibility and diagnostics.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, SMS or files.

2. How we use data

Run the game, save your records and sync progress (if you link Google).
Show global, country and daily leaderboards and greet you on return.
Grant coins/rewards and show and measure advertising.
Prevent cheating, fraud and abuse, and fix bugs.

3. Advertising & consent

We show ads via Google AdMob. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we show a consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform) where you can choose personalised or non-personalised ads. You can change your choice later in the app’s Settings.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with providers needed to run the app: Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Sign-In (optional authentication). See Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time: in the app go to Settings → Delete account (immediate and permanent), or email seganiko.corp@gmail.com. Details: Account & data deletion.

6. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers uses HTTPS. Access tokens are stored on our servers only as one-way hashes.

7. Children

Cubiko is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Our servers are hosted in the EU. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards.

9. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change and significant updates will be highlighted in the app.
